Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy improves the areas of fine motor, visual motor, visual perception, self-care, and sensory processing through everyday activities. Occupational Therapists assist children in developing their strength and coordination, sensory processing and physical abilities to increase functioning at their highest level. When necessary, an Occupational Therapist will teach compensatory strategies or use environmental accommodations to maximize a child's independence.
Occupational Therapy within the educational setting may address the following:
